The New Volvo XC90 Now Comes in a Six-Seat Passenger Configuration

2020 is shaping up to be a year of automotive innovation across the entire industry. For the Volvo XC90, one of the seemingly smallest changes it will be making for the new year may very well have the biggest effect. Volvo XC90 customers around Webster NY and Brighton NY have been clamoring for the company to release a six-seat configuration for the midsize SUV, and now they are finally getting their wish.

Alongside the standard seven-seat model and the executive-style four-seater, the Volvo XC90 will now have an optional six-seat option. You'll be able to opt for the six-seat configuration on the T6 and T8 models within the Momentum and Inscription trim levels, and they come in charcoal or blond-colored finishes.

The cascading effect of the new six-seat configuration is that the Volvo XC90's interior is quite a bit more spacious for the second and third-row passengers. The third row is easily accessible with a wide pathway formed between the second-row captain's chairs, which replace the bench.

Additionally, the flexibility you get from the six-row configuration can't be understated. You can now fit more into your cabin without having to sacrifice your passenger count, or if you're a parent of young children that are seated in the second or third row, keeping track of their movements (or disciplining them) is much easier to do from the driver's seat.

The 2020 Volvo XC90 is coming soon to Best Volvo Cars of Rochester NY. We encourage all our Fairport NY and Greece NY customers to contact us today with any questions.
